A passionate FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team from Meir Shfeya Youth Village, Israel. Innovating, learning, and competing together since 2019.
Learn about who we are, where we come from, and what drives us forward in the world of robotics.
PlanTech #17106 was founded in 2019 at the Meir Shfeya Youth Village in Israel. We are a dedicated group of students in grades 9-12 who share a passion for STEM, engineering, and problem-solving.
Over the years, we've grown not just as engineers, but as a family. We design, build, and program our robots together, overcoming challenges and celebrating our victories. We are proud to represent our school and our country, especially as we head to the Michiana Premier Event in the USA!
Custom 3D printed parts, CNC machining, and advanced automation.
Divided into specialized subteams with dedicated leaders.
Mentoring FLL teams and spreading STEM awareness.
Representing Meir Shfeya and Israel through robotics, teamwork, and STEM outreach.
Tracing our evolution from a rookie team to national competitors.
A phenomenal season featuring dual flywheels, precision odometry, advanced automation using PedroPathing, and a trip to the Michiana Premier Event in the USA.
Redesigned around a custom drivetrain and four core systems, with fast sample collection, specimen handling, and cleaner match execution shaping the season.
We built our first veteran-free robot with floor pixel intake, a tall sliding lift, and a rotating launcher while maturing the team's structure and design process.
A season of steady refinement focused on reliability, autonomous consistency, and stronger strategic play across the whole competition cycle.
A reset year built around a compact, flexible robot with barrier-crossing drive, carousel scoring, and adaptive mechanisms as the team regrouped and kept moving forward.
Despite COVID disruptions, we built our first ring-shooting robot, reworked key systems like drivetrain and intake, and grew fast through constant iteration.
Our rookie launch from scratch, learning FTC from the ground up and earning early local success that gave PlanTech its foundation.
Highlights from our most successful competitions.
Secured the top spot and overall victory in the first regional qualifier tournament.
Drafted and led our own alliance through the intense playoff elimination bracket.
